About Our Doctor
Dr. David Shearer
A native of Toronto, Dr. David Shearer has been providing his patients exceptional orthodontic care in an inviting atmosphere since 1994. Highly educated and well trained, Dr. Shearer earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and completed the Orthodontic Specialty Programme at the University of Toronto. He then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude as the class valedictorian.
Dr. Shearer feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics in order to offer his patients the most advanced treatment options. Therefore, he maintains memberships in many professional organizations to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Toronto Orthodontic Study Club. Away from the office, Dr. Shearer enjoys skiing, playing golf and spending time with his wife, Lana, and their two wonderful children.
